Bobby is survived by his wife Peggy Sims Shurden of 36 years, and two children, Rebekah and David, who were born in February, 1976 and June, 1979 respectively.

Bobby Shurden was born in Drew, MS.
Born again in August of 1967 at the Drew Baptist Church.

Surrendered to the Ministry in Winter of 1967.

Bobby has served 5 years as a Vocational Evangelist, traveling to 33 states, and ministering in over 200 churches. Currently is and have been serving as Pastor of the Crestview Baptist Church of Petal, MS since Spring, 1997.

He also has been Chaplain to the Forrest County Sheriff's Dept since January, 1992 and I began taking groups on Mission trips to Mexico in September of 1995.
